Remapping your Mercedes diesel turbo engine ECU will typically produce 30 - 50% BHP and 60 - 75% torque depending on exact specification of your car. Mercedes Diesel engines give the most impressive power and torque gains available. Extra power is gained throughout the entire rev range and under all load conditions giving you better power, better performance and better MPG .
This really is the best way of changing your Mercedes without having to change your car.
Mercedes Petrol ECU Remapping (Turbo)
Remapping an Mercedes petrol turbo engine ECU will produce 20 - 30% BHP depending on exact specification. Your Mercedes engine will be significantly more responsive with power coming in immediately relative to throttle input with no lagging at higher revs. This large increase in power & torque of your Mercedes gives far more flexibility in all gears reducing the need to change down unnecessarily to overtake safely and quickly. You will notice better power, better performance and better MPG!
Remapping Non turbo Mercedes engines produces 10 - 15% BHP. The engine will also be more responsive on initial acceleration and produce more torque (up to 20%) throughout the entire rev range, giving more response on lighter throttle.
On Earlier models of Mercedes (Pre 2000) we may need to remove the ECU and modify the software using the Chip Tuning process (Chip tuning, chipping). We remove the EPROM (Chip) from your ECU and reprogram it with your modified Mercedes Software.
