Remapping Non turbo Rover engines produces 10 - 15% BHP. The engine will also be more responsive on initial acceleration and produce more torque (up to 20%) throughout the entire rev range, giving more response on lighter throttle.On Earlier models of Rover (Pre 2000) we may need to remove the ECU and modify the software using the Chip Tuning process (Chip tuning, chipping). We remove the EPROM (Chip) from your ECU and reprogram it with your modified Rover Software.
